A quick visit to Milleridge Inn to see their Farmer’s Market this morning. The courtyard was filed in with small tables, mostly specialty food items like spiced nuts, tofu/soy drinks, olive oils for dipping, spreads, cookies. Beautifully packed, nice flavors, but all very high-priced. I bought ONE heirloom tomato for $3.50. OK, a little too much, but color was nice yellow-red. The little gift shops were running specials, Christmas store had 75% off on everything. Now we are talking. Yes, I did shop little items there but can’t tell you what! I was slighty dissapointed however. I was hoping a lot more of fresh produce and more reasonable prices.
